Things To Do In The Upper Valley – 1/5

It is a glorious time to live in the Upper Valley! Lots of fun stuff is happening on both sides of the river in NH and Vermont.

Things To Do In The Upper Valley

Friday

It sure gets dark early here, but that is ok because DB Lights starts their acclaimed light show on the Lebanon Green at 4:00 pm.

Hartford High is having a gala fundraiser at 7:00 pm to send their choir to Ireland. Tickets are $20.

It is Piano Night at the Main Street Museum in White River Junction. It is free, and it starts at 7:00 pm, but you should donate because they do a lot of fun stuff, and Joie puts a lot of work into making the events happen. There will also be awesome tarot readings by Paul Hyson.

Priscilla is showing at the Black Center on the Dartmouth College campus. Tickets are $5-$8, and the Black Center has some unintentional Doctor Who references in its architecture, so it is worth at least visiting.

Saturday
The Met comes to the Hop (Mrs. Astor would be mortified) with Giuseppe Verdi’s Nabucco. Tickets are around $10, and it starts at 1:00 pm.

Get yourself back to WRJ for Drag Story Hour at 1:00 and then more drag at 7:30 pm. Tickets are around $15 each at Northern Stage, and the events benefit Upper Valley Circus Collective.

While in WRJ have some non-arson fun at the Main Street Museum’s annual xmas tree burn. The festivities start at 6:00 pm. $15 to burn a tree. $10 to watch it happen.

Swiftly get yourself back to the Black Center in Hanover for the Taylor Swift concert film starting at 7:00 pm. Tickets start at $13.13.

Sunday

Anonymous Cafe celebrates Barbara Krinitz and Chad Finer at 3:00 pm at Junction Arts Media in White River Junction. The event is free. There will be live performances. Barbara is pretty cool so you should go.

Did we miss something? With only 2000 characters, I’m sure we did. Drop your event in the comments.
