About HeyUpperValley What are we doing? Good question! Is HeyUpper a tourist guide? No. Is HeyUpperValley like a chamber of commerce? No. The goal of HeyUpperValley.com is to be a fun and irreverent guide to what makes the Upper Valley region of New Hampshire and Vermont a great place to live and visit. That means showcasing the creativity of the Upper Valley’s entrepreneurs, local food producers, and the people investing time in our community making cool stuff happen! How you can help! Go over and say hello on Instagram and Facebook. Tag photos of your favorite places in the Upper Valley of New Hampshire and Vermont with the hashtag #HeyUpperValley, wherever fine hashtags are used. We recommend starting with Instagram, where over 10,000+ photos have already been tagged. Who is that person on the other side of the screen? Another very good question. HeyUpperValley was founded in 2019 by almost New Hampshire native Gordon Boddington. Gordon was born in Florida and raised in a converted maple sugar shack on the northern edge of Franconia Notch. As a child, Gordon spent his days exploring the New Hampshire wilderness, where we developed a love of the area’s history and landscape. After college in Washington State, Gordon returned to New Hampshire and now lives in the wilds of the Upper Valley.
